oder Covent Garden, einem Stadtteil voller Leben und Musik und dem Zuhause der Royal Oper!
...und genau da waren wir dann auch! Zum wohl schönsten Konzert seit langer, langer Zeit! Rufus Wainwright with the Brittan Sinfonia.
Good evening everyone :) It's been a loooooong time since I've been here. Due to a really relaxed, chaotic but funny holiday in London and the lack of internet access in our hotel..... but the daily Mocha Frappuccino breakfast just around the corner :D I know it's the biggest waste of money but I looooove it!!! Walking around in the streets of Camden we ended up in the bustling Stables Market. What you’ll find here is a variety of clothing, jewelry, art, decor and a much more alternative scene than you’ll find on the usual high streets as you walk on brick pavement amidst the industrial buidings of yesteryear. Of all the markets in London this one is a must go! Don't miss it out, you'll love it! The other days were filled with walks in the parks, trips to the sea, visiting Tate Modern, logistics of large shopping trips ( ahhh it's a girls world! Sorry Oliver!) and Ale tasting in cosy pubs.
And, of course (the reason why we went to London), the best concert in a long, long time!!!!! Rufus Wainwright with the Brittan Sinfonia at the Royal Opera!!!! What a fantastic evening!!! Songs like 'Over the rainbow', 'When you're smiling', 'Chicago' and 'Can't give you anything but love' still stuck in my head! The link above is one of my favorite songs 'Dinner at eight' with which I leave you for today. See you tomorrow with stories from a fifteenth century book shop, sea, cliffs and other curious things!
